Bumboat!

Sunday night with nothing to do....how about a bumboat ride?

These are traditional Singaporean boats, now used only to carry tourists up and down the Singapore River. It was pretty romantical, lit up with paper lanters, and the smell of gas fumes making me a little giddy (could that have had something to do with the leaking gas can under my feet??)

This was a great way to see the city, the driver pointing out various sights along the way - museums, statues, the new casino. The biggest hit among the tourists was stopping to see the Merlion fountain. It is basically a mermaid bottom and lion top, which is the national symbol of Singapore. And to further prove I'm a hit with the octogenarians - my new boyfriend let me drive the boat!

Does Phillip know about this new boyfriend? Phillip was your first Singaporean Octogenarian lover, and what? One romantic boat ride and all of a sudden you are like "Phillip who?"

I am sorry, but I think I am going to start a support group, or possibly even a class action law suit.

Has Kelly made you feel special? Let you hug her? Let you tell her stories about the war? Did her eyes light up when you told her the romantic story of how you met your dearly departed wife Maggie? Did she pat your shoulder and tell you, you were cute?

If so, please call the law offices of Young and Younger (see what I did there?) and we will help you get the financial settlement you deserve (for going through all of that emotional distress).

don't worry michael hurren you're better looking than this dude - he may have a killer smile but he looks like the crypt keeper. although maybe you should learn how to drive a waterboat to be on the safe side. it's a very handsome skill.
